    it may be easier if you can be a bit more specific.. thermodynamics is still a pretty braod field.. Usually, I start on wikipedia and go on from there. The site itself may not be reliable but the external links are fine and the information on the site itself can help to narrow down keywords for google search.. For the basics you should check out http://physics.info/#thermal
