    \[\sqrt{3x^2} + 9 = 3\]\[\sqrt{3x^2}= 3-9\]\[\sqrt{3x^2}= -6\]\[3x^2 = -6^2\]\[3x^2 = 36\]\[3x= \sqrt{36}\]\[3x=6\]\[Therefore,x=2\]
