Write an expression in simplest form for the area of a square with a side of 8x^3 units.

    The value of the side of a square is 8x^3 units. All sides in a square are the same. For a general rectangle, the area is: Area = base x height. The square: base=height; so: Area = side x side = side ^2 With this information, we simply plug in that side-length: Area = (8x^3)^2 Simplify as necessary. :)
