    In a survey 9/10 people said they preferred Super Cola to Basic Cola. If the survey is accurate, how many people out of 1,000 would you expect to prefer Super Cola?

      Well, what if you multiplied 10 so that it equaled 1,000 and then did the same to the 9. Basically, find the GCF and you have your answer. Make sure you multiply the denominator and numerator so they are the same.
