An important one is that the rocks are all jumbled together from big to small and clay and sand. This is the stuff carried by the glacier which just piles up when the ice melts. Piles of glacial debris will be left in a "moraine" which has the general shape of the end of the glacier which has melted away - usually half circles - some huge long walls of debris.
