The length of a new rectangular playing field is 3 yards longer than double the width. If the perimeter of a rectangular playing field is 306 yards, what are the dimensions? (the width and the length)!!! Please solve it with all the details so I can learn how to do it!!!! :/

    but it's best to do it like this. 3+2x + 3+2x + x + x = 306

    I see how u halved the perimeter doing it ur way and that is still correct but sometimes it's better to follow it directly to be safe.
