@AriPotta

Which one of these three would you use for this question: sine, cosine or tan?

4. anonymous

i dont know i dont understand anything

5. anonymous

Okay. The angle is opposite $7\sqrt{2}$ right?

6. anonymous

The angle as in 45 degrees.

7. anonymous

ok

8. anonymous

how do i solve it

9. anonymous

And x is a number right?

10. anonymous

Yes or No @Reaper534

11. anonymous

yes

12. anonymous

X is on the hypotenuse of the triangle right?

13. anonymous

yes

14. anonymous

So if you have number that is opposite of the angle 45 and a number that is on the hypotenuse, then you would know which trig function you would use. Here's how I remember my trig functions and when to use them. SOH CAH TOA (pronounced, soccertoe'r)

16. anonymous

So which of the three trig functions would you use in this case where there's a number opposite the angle and a number on the hypotenuse? Sine, cosine or tan?

17. anonymous

tan?

18. anonymous

19. anonymous

SOH/CAH/TOA S is stuck with the OH C is stuck with the AH and T is stuck with the OA

20. anonymous

ohh i see

21. anonymous

Then which one would you use in this case. Tell me.

Okay, now you're making think you're a troll. I don't think I can verbally teach you like this on the computer. because first of all, I don't even know if you're playing games and procastinating while doing work or if you're not someone who can learn by just reading words.

24. anonymous

My best bet is to go and find a tutor worht your while that can actually teach you something.

26. anonymous

im mexican im not really good at english i dont know what troll is and i really cant learn by words

27. anonymous

Okay, I think you made yourself clear. Have a great life and I hope luck is with you because you're not going to make it past your graduation.

28. anonymous

ok thx for the help

29. anonymous

Wow @Azteck quit being a butt munch he clearly is confused and you must break it down

30. anonymous

exactly ^

31. anonymous

@BradNasty You try breaking it down. I'm being realistic. I'm not his mother or father and just say "it's going to be alright, you're going to get there." If your shirt was unbuttoned or if you didn't wear sunscreen or a hat on a sunny day, no one of the street would say, hey wear some protection. Only your parents and relatices would say that. I'm just a stranger.

relatives*

33. anonymous

on a sunny day*

34. anonymous

Well he doesn't need you to play parental roll in his life lol dudeyou where helping him out earlier continue helping him

35. anonymous

I did. Usually people are practical learners, audio learners or visual learners. He could be either one, two of the three or all three.

36. anonymous

everyone is diffrent

37. anonymous

And @BradNasty you were talking about parental role and guidance which I never gave out. Please do not just jump to conclusion and believe that I gave him parental guidance. i did no such thing. @Reaper534 You just agreed with me that, everyone's different, but then I cannot make such severe adjustments of my teaching to help you. That was the most simplest form of teaching I could come up with. Any lower and I would be in a mental hospital in 10 minutes.
