ah. hmm, alright. note that: for the top box, and the box below,|dw:1359203303033:dw| their areas will each be x^2 however, for the center box, let it's length be k. 2x+k=1, so k=1-2x. so , the length of the center box is 1-2x. |dw:1359203362399:dw| so the four boxes each have the area (1-2x)x
