Slope = Rise/Run = \[(y_{2}y_{1})/(x_{2}x_{1}) \]\[(1.52)/(31) =(0.5)/(2) = 1/4 \]

Slope here represents the flow rate of water in liters per hour Slope is negative it means that water is flowing backwards when compared to the reference direction.
