there is a circle with an 8-foot chord. the midpoint of the chord is located 3 feet from the center of the circle. what is the length of the diameter of the circle?

    Look at the diagram. Use the Pythagorean theorem (or Pythagorean triples) to get the radius of the circle and then remember how to get the diameter from the radius. |dw:1359478519536:dw|
