is a the point (0,1) a solution to system of the equations? 5x-2y=-2 4x-y=1 yes or no. I did my work and got yes. Is that right? Please and thank u.

    i get no, for the first one i plug in x=0 and y=1 and get -2=-2 which is good but for the second i get -1=1..which doesn't work

    just plug in the point into both equations. It should produce a true expression if it is a solution
