Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1BC and DC are both in triangle DCB. BC is the longest rectangular side (or how that is called, hope you know what I mean) DC is the hypothenuse. If you take those sides in another triangle (all visible triangles are similar), they will have the same ratio.
