lostinfractions Group Title

4/5 X () = 2/5 the () is a blank. again i am explaining this to a 5th grader so i need it broken down. and as my name says i am lost in fractions.

    * Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal. * Multiplying /both/ sides of an equation by the same value keeps the equality true. Just including some common phrases associated with this subject. :)
