    you can pull stuff outof the square root when you have doubles of a factor to pull out that factor so you can pull out a 3 in the first leaving a 5 in the square root... in the second you can pull out a 5 leaving a 5 in the square root so now you end up with two terms that have the like term sqrt of 5
