When scientists disagree, A. a new method of doing things must be devised. B. each must take sides and develop a new area of science. C. philosophers must be called in to settle the argument. D. scientific experimentation and debate can help settle the differences of opinion.

    its D, when scientists disagree they will collaborate and work on the problem until a common ground is found, the others are not practical. a philosopher wouldn't be able to solve a problem two nuclear physicists where having, the previous method of doing things wouldn't need to be revise, just the approach, and b just doesn't make any sense.
