will this sentence sound OK: the small sample size in such studies can be another concern to apply the results therein?

    I personally think that it sounds confusing and that you should consider re-writtign it in differaant words to make it more comprehensible.

    In such studies, the small sample size can be another concern if you apply the results therein. :)

    I would write it like this: "The small samples taken from these studies shows a concern that apples it to the previous study." or something like that...
