There are 23 coins in a bank. All the coins are dimes and quarters. The total value of the coins is $3.80. How many dimes are there? How many quarters?

    I feel like he's not getting it so... x+y=23 where x is the number of dimes and y is the number of quarters .1x+.25y=3.8 You multiply the number of the respective coins by the value of each. Now solve the system.
