Is drug concentration in the bloodstream an example of exponential decay?

    Yes. Decay is usually modeled exponentially. Formula for half-life is exponential.

    It almost but not always is. There are a few cases which are linear and a few cases which are constant, but these are so rare and unusual as to be considered special circumstances.
