    Yes, it is. There are a number of ways. Most windows installations should come with a version of Python installed. If not, follow the steps here: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Python_Programming/Getting_Python. There are a number of different ways you can run it, including installing python itself, CygWin, or IDLE. The easiest way will be to go to http://www.python.org/download/
