what are examples of acids anhydrides?

    A chemical substance (typically, a corrosive or sour-tasting liquid) that neutralizes alkalis, dissolves some metals, and turns litmus red. Example: Nitric Acid, Hydrochloric acid

    A compound, typically a crystalline one, in which water molecules are chemically bound to another compound or an element. Example: Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate. The first one was for acids this one is for hydrates. did this help?

    Hydrides are not hydrates. Hydrides are binary compounds where one element is Hydrogen and the other is usually a metal. Aluminium Hydride is AlH3.
