can anyone please help me design the circuit for the following scenerio There are two switches to control the light in a long corridor. You must be able to turn the light on while entering the corridor from any direction and turn it off at the other end when you leave.

    Such a circuit is often valled a hotel switch or three-way switch. For a schematic see e.g. http://www.act-remote.com/PCC/images/fig2_07.gif

    I think it's called two way switch.
