Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Irregular bones have complicated shapes and therefore can not be classified in any of the shape based categories. Their shapes are due to their function, for example, proving mechanical support for the body yet protecting the spinal cord, in the case of the vertebrae. Examples common to all are the vertebrae and some facial bones.
