    Systemic circulation involves arteries and capillaries by carrying oxygenated blood from the heart to various parts of the body. On the other hand, pulmonary circulation is completely the opposite because it carries de-oxygenated blood away from the heart, and into the lungs for re-oxygenation. This type of circulation requires the use of the venous system, or veins.
