A uniform solid cylinder of diameter 14cm rolls with out slipping with angular velocity 25 rad/s . The cylinder suddenly contacts a plane inclined at an angle theta. The Value of theta which Brings the cylinder immediately to rest is ?

    I do not understand the question. You cannot bring the cylinder immediately to rest. That would mean you make a finite amount of energy disappear in an infinitesimal amount of time. You would need for that an infinite power, which is not physically acceptable.
