    Hey @guesswhatchickenbut Welcome to OpenStudy! Fanning users is basically kind of like saying hey your my friend type of thing. You could fan others users also by hovering your mouse over their name. Also when they fan you, they get notified when you come online. Also depending on how YOU have your settings, only people that are your fan will be able to message you! Please let me know if you need anything else, I am always here to help!
