since questions like this may come up again, it would be good to know what these terms mean so you can eliminate them. For example, "flagella" is not a good answer, because it's the tail of these cells. The flagella is for motion, so that gets eliminated. Then you can get rid of capsids, because those usually help viruses spread diseases. Your answer is going to be endospores, because you can eliminate cocci, too, because that's a type of bacteria. Do you get that one, now?

Well, you're in luck! Biology is my best; so I'm glad to help. Just don't ask me anything about math; it's my nemesis. ;)

Okay, so the next question: it's something that "breaks down" other things. right away I see one that can be eliminated, what about you?

Great! I'm guessing you picked "producers" and that's great! Another one we can eliminate is nitrogen-fixers. The name kind of gives it away - it 'fixes' nitrogen - not breaks nitrogen down. Finally, we can eliminate nodules. Nodules are basically plant warts, lol. So the answer is decomposers. If you look at the word, it's made out of the word "decompose" which means to break down. Do you get that one?

Really? That's pretty cool! :D And I have a feeling you won't fail Bio. Sometimes it gets kind of foggy, but if you can handle HISTORY you can handle anything ha ha. :) Okay, the next question: Well, this one can be tricky, so I'll work it out for you. a) Petroleum spill: In this Prokaryotes = bacteria. Humans use a special bacteria to "eat" oil when there's an oil spill. so this is not the answer. b) Yogurt: Prokaryotes = bacteria. There are helpful bacteria in yogurt that help us in digestion. So this isn't the answer either. c) Medicine: Prokaryotes = bacteria. Humans use dead or weakened viral bacteria to create vaccines. So this isn't the answer either. Therefore, the answer is d.
