Then, you use the theorum "If two triangles are similar, then the ratio of any two corresponding segments (such as altitudes, medians, or angle bisectors) equals the ratio of any two corresponding sides."

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0to question #1 Δ QPR and ΔBAC are similar since they have pairs of angle equal, ∠PQR =∠ABC; ∠QPR =∠BAC and PRQ=∠ACB > they are similar. the ratio is PQ PR PR AQ AQ 2  =  and  =  and  =  AB AC AC BC BC 3 . you can calculate by replace the length of sides into my equation to figure out that the ratio between them is 2  3 the condition to have that conclusion is you must name the triangles in order makes them similar. if you change the order, you cannot find out the ratio. . I don't know whether you still need the explanation or not, if it's too late. I'm sorry. My help is out of date.
