    \[\frac{ x-4 }{ x ^{2} }-\frac{ (x-12)(x-4) }{ x^{2} }-8x+16\]

the simplest way to go abt is to form a single term from the given expression i.e make x^2 a common denominator for the entire expression. the numerator will be a cubic expression. Now divide the entire expression by denominator i.e x^2 and you will gwt a simplified expression
