so the distance from focus to vertex is 1 and i know that this will take the form (y5)= n(x+2^2 to solve for n, we can calibrate it with the extra point that is located to the side of the focus

since a = 1, 2+2a = 0 n = (y5)/(x+2)^2 n = (65)/(0+2)^2 n = 1/4
