jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
my guess is that because water is essential to life, you would need lots of it to make large civilizations possible

ik im sorry ._. lol no one in the geography section helps me >_<
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I don't think they were paid....otherwise, why not just hire an actual worker?
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
They were in servitude to pay off a debt. If they worked for a certain number of years, then that debt would be paid off automatically and they would be granted their freedom.

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
A is the only one that fits because BD says they got paid, which is not true
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
D is obviously false because not even nonindentured servants who did the same hard labor got that luxury
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
B is false because they didn't get paid, but they did get their freedom after a specified point in time
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
C is false for similar reasons to B

 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
btw slaves were like indentured servants, but they were not paid and their freedom would never come because they would be bound to slavery forever that's just one of the many unjust atrocities that the whole institution of slavery committed (there are tons more as well)

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
hmm i still don't think they were paid, because if they were, then why not just hire a worker to do the job?
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1

jim_thompson5910 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
