What is the difference between bulimia and binge-eating? Binge-eating involves eating large amounts of food at one sitting, and bulimia does not. Binge-eating affects both genders, but bulimia affects only females. Bulimia involves purging food after eating, but binge-eating does not. Bulimia usually begins in later adolescence, and binge-eating begins during childhood. @ParthKohli
