Both Ryan and Lashonda own canoes. The two canoes have exactly the same shape, and they are both made from the same material. Ryan's canoe is 12ft long, and it weighs 324 lb. If Lashonda's canoe is 14ft long, how much does it weigh?

    \[\frac{324}{12}=\frac{x}{14}\] \[x=\frac{14\times 324}{12}\]
