    If you subtract the median price in 1940 ($23,800) from the median price in 2000 ($113,100) and divide the result by 6 (the number of decades between 1940 and 200) you will have the value of the coefficient of x in the equation of the required trend line. \[coefficient \ of\ x=\frac{113100-23800}{6}=you\ can\ calculate\] Then you can find the correct equation in the choices.
