. Where is the emphasis, or focus, in this painting? How did the artist make this area stand out? A part of emphasis I see in the painting is her dress it stands out! It stands out because she used really darker colors and in the middle she had the bright pink dress! 4. Is there a foreground, middleground, and background? What visual tricks did the artist use to create a sense of depth, or distance? Part three 1. What mood or feeling did the artist express in this artwork? What in the work makes you think this?
