    -11-8t=7t+7*2 -11-8t=7t+14 add 11 on both the sides -11-8t+11=7t+14+11 -8t=7t+25 add 8t on both the sides -8t+8t=7t+8t+25 15t+25=0 15t=-25 divide both the sides by 15 t=-25/15=-5/3 (;

    ok wat u gotta do is to use distributive law 8*3-8*y=3y+2 24-8y=3y+2 add 8y on both sides 24-8y+8y=3y+8y+2 24=11y+2 then subtract 2 from both the sides 24-2=11y+2-2 22=11y then divide both the sides by 11 22/11=11y/11 2=y so y=2
