15 - 4 + 12 ÷ 2

    ahh order of operations here...remember pemdas! parenthesis exponents multiplication division addition subtraction any parenthesis? 15 - 4 + 12 ÷ 2 we have division first so 15 - 4 + (12/2) 15-4 + 6 now just go left to right 15 - 4 is 11 11 + 6 is 17
