A person spends 1/3 of her annual income for board, 1/12 for clothes, and 1/3 for other expenses, and saves $7,000. What is her income?

    Ok, we know she has spent 2/3 and 1/12, so we can need to get the same denominator. We know she spent 9/ 12. What she has left over is 3/12 or 1/4. So 7,00o is one forth. We just multiply this by four which is 28,000. Her income is 28,000
