when double click on a .py file , a command window opens up and goes awy in a fraction of a second . How should i see whats the code written inside of the .py file?

    Double clicking it will run the file and the command window closes when done. To view the contents you can open it in python's Idle or a text editor like notepad++ or wordpad. To see the output you can run it in Idle or open a command prompt and run it from there.

    right click the python file and click edit with python

    right click on the python file and click edit with IDLE
