4(n + 3) = 2n + 8

    4n+4*3=2n+8 4n+12=2n+8 subtract 2n both the sides 4n-2n+12=2n-2n+8 2n+12=8 subtract 8 both the sides 2n+12-8=8-8 2n+12=0 2n=-12 divide by 2 n=-6 ;)

    2n+12-8=0 2n+4=0 2n=-4 n=-2
