A plumbing contractor decides to field-test two new pumps. One is rated at 180gal/h and the other at 250gal/h. She tests one, then the other. Over a period of 6h, she pumps a total of 1325gal. Assume that both pumps operate as rated. How long is each in operation? I need help with figuring out the linear equations for the application.
