Are you asking for ideas to create an application, or what?

Desktop application is not so interesting nowadys. But if you insist, I think you can create a desktop application for keeping track of inventory or a application to allow people to store their user ID and password. As sometimes, people tend to forgot their password. Make it convenient and yet secure.

People still need to find some way to do nothing while sitting in a cubicle all day. Maybe create a html5 game or something they might be able to play without alerting the pesky help-desk gestapo.
