One scientific source provides the following information on this subject: “There is also evidence for older supernova events: Enhanced levels of iron-60 in deep-sea sediments have been interpreted as indications that a supernova explosion occurred within 90 light-years of the sun about 5 million years ago. Iron-60 is a radioactive isotope of iron, formed in supernova explosions, which decays with a half life of 1.5 million years. An enhanced presence of this isotope in a geologic layer indicates the recent nucleosynthesis of elements nearby in space and their subsequent transport to the earth (perhaps as part of dust grains).”[3] All this shows that iron did not form on the Earth, but was carried from Supernovas, and was "sent down," as stated in the verse. It is clear that this fact could not have been known in the 7th century, when the Quran was revealed. Iron is one of the elements highlighted in the Quran. In the chapter known Al-Hadeed, meaning Iron, we are informed: “And We also sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind…” (Quran 57:25)

010.092 "This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" According to Moudoodi " Even today that place can be identified in Sina on its Western coast, where the body of the Pharoh was found floating. It is called Jabal i Firaoon and there is a warm water spring called hammam i Firaoon. The location of these is is a few miles north of Abu Zanmiyah and the local inhabitants specifically point to the place where the body of the Pharoh was found. There is a mumified body of a Pharoh in the Museum of Cairo. It is uncertain if this is the same Pharoh who came against Moses pbuh. In 1907 Sir Grafton Elliot Smith, when opened the mumified remains of this Pharoh, his body was covered with a layer of salt, that suggested that he had died by drowning in salt water. According to Islahi As the second reminder of Allah's revenge the body of the Pharoh was not accepted by the sea but as a stark reminder was thrown out. His body was later seen by people with their own eyes and his ultimate end. Egyptians had the tradition to mumify the bodies . Mumfied remains of a Pharoh are preserved in the Cairo museum. Though the opinion of the experts is divided whether he is the Pharoh or another Pharoh, but for me(Islahi) in contrast to the opinion of these novices the saying of the Qur'an 1400 years ago is more reliable.(i.e Islahi believes that the mumfied remains are those of the Pharoh that came against Moses pbuh

i hate to quote wikipedia but on the page Ramesses II "In 1974 Egyptologists visiting his tomb noticed that the mummy's condition was rapidly deteriorating and flew it to Paris for examination.[59] Ramesses II was issued an Egyptian passport that listed his occupation as "King (deceased)".[60] The mummy was received at Le Bourget airport, just outside Paris, with the full military honours befitting a king.[61] In Paris, it was found that Ramesses's mummy was being attacked by fungus, which it was treated for. "All living creatures place their faith in someone more powerful than them and they cannot survive unless they blindly follow that person. The recipient of that faith then seeks out someone in an even higher position in order to escape from the pressure. That person then seeks out someone even more powerful that he must put his faith in. In this way all kings are born and in this way all Gods are born."

Well, it really depends on your definition of God. It's a rather abstract idea. Are we polytheist and believe all God, or monotheist? Then we have pantheist who believe the universe is God. I don't consider myself a theist or an atheist. I don't think I can really call myself a pantheist nor an agnostic. I don't look for a God in the universe, therefore, I cannot be labeled under a group. Though, I do enjoy studying the social construct and implications religion has on the world. The best definition I've seen (or rather the most agreed upon) is that God is a magic sky daddy that grants wishes and saves people who worship and live for him. I think that's narcissistic and shows vanity. But lets forget the idea of a God for a second. A kingdom needs a king, right? So the people appoint a king. The king has a lot of pressure so he turns to religion and uses God names to guide him. Escaping the pressure in the name of God. Who'd question God? Even if everything goes bad, if the king says, "god told me," than the people will blindly follow and think it's for the best. Eventually the king dies and the religion spreads. And this is how all kings and Gods are born. Now, I wouldn't say all species sense even humans have different Gods. Though, ONLY humans have Gods and participate in religious ceremonies and follow the criteria. You don't see lions or fishes doing that. So by definition we're performing unnatural acts. Which leads me to conclude that Gods are unnatural. To answer your question. No. Having faith in yourself is pointless. You don't need to have faith in your self. You know you exist. You can feel, touch, hear, and taste yourself. It's not that you have faith in yourself, but you believe that ALL things are enlightened through the self. This is called humanism and is practiced in Taoism and Buddhism. HOWEVER, if you believe that you are God himself, then you are a Soliphist. A radical view, that is. Solipsism is usually linked to mental disorders and God-complexes that are harmful. Note: to be a soliphist you must believe that you are the only thing sure to exist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism Though, I think you're a humanist.

I didn't really mean i have substantial faith in my self, i more ment that i have little faith in others. I certainly dont think of my self as god-like, as there are certainly many greater than i. I suppose my own personal world view agrees and disagrees with many elements of Panthesism, Solipsism, Secular Humanism, Anti-humanism, LaVeyan Satanism. I am all about exploring and attempting to comprehend the universe. I see that an individual is potentially quite powerful has a great capacity to do good things for this earth, but i also see humans and there systems as inherently flawed and corruptible . I consider my myself Atheist and perhaps a Psychonaut but most chiefly a Scientist. I enjoy studying the philosophies

erusalem, in the life of our Lord, represents the place where He reached the culmination of His Father’s will. Jesus said, “I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:30). Seeking to do “the will of the Father” was the one dominating concern throughout our Lord’s life. And whatever He encountered along the way, whether joy or sorrow, success or failure, He was never deterred from that purpose. “. . . He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem . . .” (Luke 9:51). The greatest thing for us to remember is that we go up to Jerusalem to fulfill God’s purpose, not our own. In the natural life our ambitions are our own, but in the Christian life we have no goals of our own. We talk so much today about our decisions for Christ, our determination to be Christians, and our decisions for this and that, but in the New Testament the only aspect that is brought out is the compelling purpose of God. “You did not choose Me, but I chose you . . .” (John 15:16). We are not taken into a conscious agreement with God’s purpose— we are taken into God’s purpose with no awareness of it at all. We have no idea what God’s goal may be; as we continue, His purpose becomes even more and more vague. God’s aim appears to have missed the mark, because we are too nearsighted to see the target at which He is aiming. At the beginning of the Christian life, we have our own ideas as to what God’s purpose is. We say, “God means for me to go over there,” and, “God has called me to do this special work.” We do what we think is right, and yet the compelling purpose of God remains upon us. The work we do is of no account when compared with the compelling purpose of God. It is simply the scaffolding surrounding His work and His plan. “He took the twelve aside . . .” (Luke 18:31). God takes us aside all the time. We have not yet understood all there is to know of the compelling purpose of God.

Deities were initially sacrificed and prayed to avoid some danger in the environment such as war, desease or what we consider today as natural phenomenon. They also portrayed how people acted or should act in their culture in order to teach the young. The polytheistic religions of ancient Greece and later the Viking were delegated to myth as their culture died out or was converted. The Vikings were war like and expected to die with honor in battle and then go to eternity to their Norse gods. The use of gods instead of Gods is very subjected, one must remember when studying any religion that the practitioners had a fervent belief, one might say deep faith, in their Deities.

What is meant by purity within? In the Torah, Books of Moses, Pentateuch you'll fined a statute of not mixing threads of different material in ones garment. Like most practices it has a spiritual meaning, not to intermingle religious beliefs/principles or practices with other religions. This is true purity, and the garment created is ones covering within the world. The experience of the Devine is not just an inward one, observations within and without communicating to you in a way that truly can't be taught but are on a totally different plane of existence.

divinity is not bound to materialistic body but to soul. soul is pure and Devine. Soul don't have any relation to caste or religion. If you consider every human has soul then you should consider every human is Devine and pure. Depression, misery pain etc. related to how you worked your life. suffering is self created and because life is not predefined. soul cannot be defined based on any religious texts. @KenLJW first drop all your philosophy's and try to experience oneness that's you. The only way I know is through the experience of someone asking a question on a text page that I turned to, what was on the page was h-parameter model, the question was "that's what I want to know". I replied by explaining how to convert the h-parameter model to pi-model in schematic form. I've had others where the only way I knew was something said later implying knowledge of what I was designing in my own home with pen and paper. There have been many other observation giving me a different view of reality.

I've gone through a number of psychiatric diagnosis's over the years, one in the early 70's of paranoid schizophrenia. I actually didn't turn out to be one so they constantly re-diagnose. The actual schizophrenic goes deeper and deeper into oneself becoming completely detach from the outside world. If ones life doesn't correspond the reality, and I don't mean by that it's has to be in a constant form, then one becomes useless to themselves and the world. The word ecstasy occurs once in the KJB referring to the state of a prophet, this word has the same meaning as mania and rapture. I believe those diagnosed bipolar or manic depressive are individuals thrown to the wind because they're not given a firm religious foundation in which to function in the world. Many great minds in the past have been diagnosed but generally there foundation is in science or politics like Abraham Lincoln. With my Engineering training and individual Religious study's I've developed a unique understanding of how the world works and how people are affected without their knowledge.

I would be happy to:) The way to reach God is to talk to him. God loves each and everyone of us beyond imaginable. God sent down his son Jesus to save the world. He blessed a virgin girl named Marry with a son. Joseph, her husband didn't know what to think because he had never touched her. God sent an angel down to tell marry to not be afraid. That she will conceive a baby boy named Jesus and he will do great things. Marry and Joseph became content and trusted God. God did this because he wanted to show the world what he was capable of. That he does love us. He healed through his son. Remember now, God is 3 in one; the father, the spirit and son. Meaning he is the father(god in the flesh) the spirit(Gives you signs/talks to you) and the son(Jesus). An example of the spirit: In the old king James version, Adam and eve were in the garden. God didn't show as the father or son. He showed as the spirit. It was calm and a great wind started blowing. Adam and eve walked towards the wind instead of away from it. They wanted to be as close to him as possible. The more they walked towards the wind, the better they felt. They felt whole. The problem with the world today is we are walking away from God. Away from the wind. Witch causes us to fall into addiction, lust, and heavy sin. There is a created order: God Angels Man Heavens Animals Nature Take a look at that. We are right below God. God loves us that much. Nature and animals is for the people that follow 'gods' and horoscopes; the stars and bugs...stuff like that. If you look, you will notice if you worship the nature, animals, heaven's' , bugs, trees, cows(it was someone reincarnated) less they think of you. You are almost last on the list. BUT if you are with God, you are important. God has made us the kings of nature and the earth. Not the other way around. Don't let a weed that grows in the ground order you around. Don't let a tree or the stars have a 'duty' for you. As Psalm 8:4-6 says: "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet" God had a plan for his son. Jesus knew his destiny; to die on the cross to show is ultimate love for us. As the most well known verse of the bible states; John3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." when you said "all religions teaches only one, that is truth and the of whole of all religions is to do good and to be good." I don't fully agree with that, but I can't judge. I'm not fully educated on every religion. The meaning of God is that he loves us very much and he sent his son down to prove that. He is waiting for you to come to him and ask for forgiveness. No matter who you are, no matter what you've done, it can all be washed away by the blood of Jesus. You cannot get to God but through Jesus Christ his son. How do you do that? You pray:) I really hope all this helped and I'm very sorry if I confused and lost you at points. This guy is awesome! The bible is where you need to turn to, to understand this. The 1st commandment by God says "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 23:13 states “Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips." Thats right there^^ is solid proof that there were no gods before the bible. The bible was written by God's people. Each tells a different story and is in their perspective.

@e.cociuba Didn't I just I say, "God exist because I feel him in my heart." Joe Pesci is God because I lurv him! And if I may say, you answered absolutely none of the questioned stated. You have neither refuted nor disproved my original argument. Yet - you have no problem spitting ad hominem slurs. I do not need to prove he does not exist. I cannot prove Santa, Fairies, The Easter Bunny, nor The Flying Penguin in the Sky exist. I will never be able to disprove that in which does not exist. It is a natural fallacy. You have made the assertion that a God exist, therefor, you must provide evidence for your claims. If I said, "I can fly," and you said, "fly," saying, "you cannot prove that I can't fly," is not a fair argument.

I still stick to this though: How can something be true just because its comforting to believe? Just because it helps yourself to believe it? There's no proof, and if there's no proof, it goes to the realm of what humans call "faith". Beleving something they call "true". They say they have to have "faith" because they think it is true. Yet they can not say why it is true? But they have "faith". This faith term makes no sense, its basing on believing in something true yet how can something be true if you cannot prove it? Isn't that a bit irrational?

So basically people want to believe in religion. No matter what. That's why they create the word "faith". They cannot prove it, yet they want to believe it. So they just say "its true" or "have it in your heart". Yet they cannot prove it. They use these terms to try to make people believe something with no basis for it.

Read this: "LET ME EXPLAIN THE problem Science has with Jesus Christ." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand. "You're a Christian, aren't you, son?" "Yes, sir." "So you believe in God?" "Absolutely." "Is God good?" "Sure! God's good." "Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?" "Yes." "Are you good or evil?" "The Bible says I'm evil." The professor grins knowingly. "Ahh! THE BIBLE!" He considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here, and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help them? Would you try?" "Yes sir, I would." "So you're good...!" "I wouldn't say that." "Why not say that? You would help a sick and maimed person if you could...in fact most of us would if we could... God doesn't." No answer. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?" No answer. The elderly man is sympathetic. "No, you can't, can you?" He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. In philosophy, you have to go easy with the new ones. "Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?" "Er... Yes." "Is Satan good?" "No." "Where does Satan come from?" The student falters. "From...God..." "That's right. God made Satan, didn't he?" The elderly man runs his bony fingers through his thinning hair and turns, smirking, to the student audience. "I think we're going to have a lot of fun this semester, ladies and gentlemen." He turns back to the Christian. "Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?" "Yes, sir." "Evil's everywhere, isn't it? Did God make everything?" "Yes." "Who created evil?" No answer. "Is there sickness in this world? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All the terrible things - do they exist in this world?" The student squirms on his feet. "Yes." "Who created them?" No answer. The professor suddenly shouts at his student. "WHO CREATED THEM? TELL ME, PLEASE!" The professor closes in for the kill and climb into the Christian's face. In a still small voice: "God created all evil, didn't He, son?" No answer. The student tries to hold the steady, experienced gaze and fails. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace the front of the classroom like an aging panther. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues, "How is it that this God is good if He created all evil throughout all time?" The professor swishes his arms around to enc ompass the wickedness of the world. "All the hatred, the brutality, all the pain, all the torture, all the death and ugliness and all the suffering created by this good God is all over the world, isn't it, young man?" No answer. "Don't you see it all over the place? Huh?" Pause. "Don't you?" The professor leans into the student's face again and whispers, "Is God good?" No answer. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?" The student's voice betrays him and cracks. "Yes, professor. I do." The old man shakes his head sadly. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen your Jesus?" "No, sir. I've never seen Him." "Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?" "No, sir. I have not." "Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus... In fact, do you have any sensory perception of your God whatsoever?" No answer. "Answer me, please." "No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't." "You're AFRAID... you haven't?" "No, sir." "Yet you still believe in him?" "...yes..." "That takes FAITH!" The professor smiles sagely at the underling. "According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son? Where is your God now?" The student doesn't answer. "Sit down, please." The Christian sits...Defeated. Another Christian raises his hand. "Professor, may I address the class?" The professor turns and smiles. "Ah, another Christian in the vanguard! Come, come, young man. Speak some proper wisdom to the gathering." The Christian looks around the room. "Some interesting points you are making, sir. Now I've got a question for you. Is there such thing as heat?" "Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat." "Is there such a thing as cold?" "Yes, son, there's cold too." "No, sir, there isn't." The professor's grin freezes. The room suddenly goes very cold. The second Christian continues. "You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold, otherwise we would be able to go colder than 458 –You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it." Silence. A pin drops somewhere in the classroom. "Is there such a thing as darkness, professor?" "That's a dumb question, son. What is night if it isn't darkness? What are you getting at...?" "So you say there is such a thing as darkness?" "Yes..." "You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something, it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly, you have nothing, and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, Darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker and give me a jar of it. Can you...give me a jar of darker darkness, professor?" Despite himself, the professor smiles at the young effrontery before him. This will indeed be a good semester. "Would you mind telling us what your point is, young man?" "Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with and so your conclusion must be in error...." The professor goes toxic. "Flawed...? How dare you...!" "Sir, may I explain what I mean?" The class is all ears. "Explain... oh, explain..." The professor makes an admirable effort to regain control. Suddenly he is affability itself. He waves his hand to silence the class, for the student to continue. "You are working on the premise of duality," the Christian explains "That for example there is life and then here's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science cannot even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism but has never seen, much less fully understood them. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, merely the absence of it." The young man holds up a newspaper he takes from the desk of a neighbor who has been reading it. "Here is one of the most disgusting tabloids this country hosts, professor. Is there such a thing as immorality?" "Of course there is, now look..." "Wrong again, sir. You see, immorality is merely the absence of morality. Is there such thing as injustice? No. Injustice is the absence of justice. Is there such a thing as evil?" The Christian pauses. "Isn't evil the absence of good?" The professor's face has turned an alarming color. He is so angry he is temporarily speechless. The Christian continues. "If there is evil in the world, professor, and we all agree there is, then God, if he exists, must be accomplishing a work through the agency of evil. What is that work, God is accoplishing? The Bible tells us it is to see if each one of us will, of our own free will, choose good over evil." The professor bridles. "As a philosophical scientist, I don't view this matter as having anything to do with any choice; as a realist, I absolutely do not recognize the concept of God or any other theological factor as being part of the world equation because God is not observable." "I would have thought that the absence of God's moral code in this world is probably one of the most observable phenomena going," the Christian replies. "Newspapers make billions of dollars reporting it every week! Tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?" "If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do." "Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?" The professor makes a sucking sound with his teeth and gives his student a silent, stony stare. "Professor. Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a priest?" "I'll overlook your impudence in the light of our philosophical discussion. Now, have you quite finished?" the professor hisses. "So you don't accept God's moral code to do what is righteous?" "I believe in what is - that's science!" "Ahh! SCIENCE!" the student's face spits into a grin. "Sir, you rightly state that science is the study of observed phenomena. Science too is a premise which is flawed..." "SCIENCE IS FLAWED..?" the professor splutters. The class is in uproar. The Christian remains standing until the commotion has subsided. "To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, may I give you an example of what I mean?" The professor wisely keeps silent. The Christian looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out in laughter. The Christian points towards his elderly, crumbling tutor. "Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain... felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain?" No one appears to have done so. The Christian shakes his head sadly. "It appears no-one here has had any sensory perception of the professor's brain whatsoeer. Well, according to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says the professor has no brain." The class is in chaos. The Christian sits... Because that is what a chair is for.

I can explain why I believe in a god. What is consciousness? Humans have been created to not only think, but to be aware of themselves. NO MATTER how smart a computer could ever be programmed to be, would it ever have a real "will"? Other then what you have programmed it to do? Will it ever have a consciousness, of what is it? Will it even live? NO. This is why I believe in a god. There are so many things you cannot explain. Through science. That's where God comes in.

But thats dumb to say that just because it has never been seen that it doesn't exist. First of all, there are many facts that prove that evolution happened. And most of all, if you only believe in what you see, then you can't see god? Why do you believe in one? Bad argument.

I think I should tell you a story which would illustrate the cause of this variance. A frog lived in a well. It had lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, and yet was a little, small frog. Of course the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not, but, for our story's sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all the worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another frog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well. "Where are you from?" "I am from the sea." "The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?" and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other. "My friend," said the frog of the sea, "how do you compare the sea with your little well?" Then the frog took another leap and asked, "Is your sea so big?" "What nonsense you speak, to compare the sea with your well!" "Well, then," said the frog of the well, "nothing can be bigger than my well; there can be nothing bigger than this; this fellow is a liar, so turn him out." That has been the difficulty all the while. I am a Hindu. I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christian sits in his little well and thinks the whole world is his well. The Mohammedan sits in his little well and thinks that is the whole world. I have to thank you of Open-study for the great attempt making to break down the barriers of this little world of ours, and hope that, in the future, the Lord will help you to accomplish your purpose.

To the Hindu, then, the whole world of religions is only a travelling, a coming up, of different men and women, through various conditions and circumstances, to the same goal. Every religion is only evolving a God out of the material man, and the same God is the inspirer of all of them. Why, then, are there so many contradictions? They are only apparent, says the Hindu. The contradictions come from the same truth adapting itself to the varying circumstances of different natures. It is the same light coming through glasses of different colours. And these little variations are necessary for purposes of adaptation. But in the heart of everything the same truth reigns

Jesus Christ is Gods son. God showed his love through him. God exampled his power through his son multiple times when Jesus healed. Jesus died on the cross and rose again. He lives. God is the father, the son, and the holy spirit(as i mentioned earlier) God is the FATHER , the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT. Notice how it says the son in there. That's because he is the son. He showed his works through his son.

Science is said to have proved that the sum total of cosmic energy is always the same. Then, if there was a time when nothing existed, where was all this manifested energy? Some say it was in a potential form in God. In that case God is sometimes potential and sometimes kinetic, which would make Him mutable. Everything mutable is a compound, and everything compound must undergo that change which is called destruction. So God would die, which is absurd. Therefore there never was a time when there was no creation. If I may be allowed to use a simile, creation and creator are two lines, without beginning and without end, running parallel to each other. God is the ever active providence, by whose power systems after systems are being evolved out of chaos, made to run for a time and again destroyed. : "The sun and the moon, the Lord created like the suns and moons of previous cycles." And this agrees with modern science.

Because God was shown through his son. In Genesis; the 1st story in the bible, it explains that God made everything. He created everything. Science is sometimes a way that he tests you of faith. Especially when it comes to evolution. In the bible God says: I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the 1st and the last. Fun fact: In Greek, alpha means A and omega is Z. He is the A and Z(the beginning and last) How in the world did you come up with "u believe in the bible because i am christ?" Heck no! I BELIEVE in Christ and FOLLOW the bible because that is the word; his word. The bible is everything God said and wants us to be. I absolutely believe every part of it:)

@compassionate First, regarding about the bible. The speculation revolves around the idea that it had been spreading through word-of-mouth for quite a while. Many people had written it down. How comes a lot of their writings are alike? I'm sure they had undergone certain changes from the original story, but the fact that every location, every place in the bible is accurate, its highly believable (unlike books like the Book of Mormon, when many places listed weren't even actual locations). Also, since all the books agree on the basis of the story, isn't it likely that the story had some truth to it and a lot of the happenings were factual?

@compassionate Regarding believing in a God. Firstly, what do you believe. If "God" didn't create the world, who did. As I had proven earlier, the world is extraordinarily complex. Do you believe that the world (and the rest of our universe) were formed out of no where? You may say that the universe is created quite a bit by gasses and explosions and chemical reactions, sure it is, but who started all of these? Who put gases and chemicals in space originally? And I don't only think originally, I think even later with the creation of earth, no matter how these gases formed, how could they create so sophisticated life forms? Sure, they started with single-cell-animals, but how did they develop into something so intelligent, symmetrical, almost perfect in certain ways? I believe in evolution, but I also believe in a divine intervention.

True, there are similar foundations throughout the different branches of Christian Bibles. We know the Pentecostal, Catholic, Moron, even the Qu'ran mentioned Jesus. The figure of 'Jesus' has many names when translated. There must have been an original story in which all these different branches of Christianity came from. The church separated because of disagreements not in a book, but simply politics. Some joined it for money and some translated it subjectively, can we agree on that? |dw:1373994940091:dw|

So, these different branches write their own books (tweak them slightly) and you get different Bibles and books but they're very similar. You notice that new religions stray from from old and vice-versa. The closer you get the the original religion (the foundation of all books) the more unclear and coded things become. Lets take account the New Testament (KJB) that you were talking about. In order to write that, men had to translate original Greek text thousands of years old. It is then up to the original Hebrew translators to decide what the Greek text really mean. Then, it is up to the English translator to decide what the Hebrew translators eant about the Greek texts. Then, it is up to the English recipients to decide if that is true or false and if they want to change it (King James did in the 1500s) Keep in mind, there are over 1,000 original Greek scrolls but no two read a like. Even though more than two scroll may talk about the same instance (for example: Jesus) none of the two read alike. So, it is then up to a translator (just a man) to decide which scroll is right. Doesn't that all seem biased to you? Also, know that there are over 10,00 text errors in the King James Bible.

I agree with that. As you said " Then, it is up to the English recipients to decide if that is true or false and if they want to change it" That is the problem though, they decide to change what was said by God because they don't know if it sounds right..

@Ell how do you know people are selected by god to write bible. how can you believe that. did god said you that those people are special to him to write bible or those people by them selves mentioned that they are gods people. if they are gods people then who are the remaining humans. aren't all humans are gods people. Hmm its just belief. but a belief may not become a fact. so finally its clear that bible is written by humans and it can under go changes as in the past.

I'll quote what I said a bit earlier: "Regarding believing in a God. I believe in evolution, but I also believe in a divine intervention."

    >What created the universe There does not need to be one. The laws of thermodynamics allow that. You see, if there is no universe nothing exist, therefore natural laws don't exist, therefor the law of Cause and Effect do not exist. Therefor, anything can happen with a cause nor an effect. So the universe is allowed to create itself. >Energy stays the same in the universe No, laws of thermodynamics state that all energy will decay if not acted upon. >How does a single cell organism evolve into something so complex? The problem your all having is called polimic's, but for this to occur you must agree on the same text. It first started with "Luther" when a argued his position with the Roman Catholic Church, and the process has continued between the Protestant community and the RCC. I ran into this in AA where some members use The AA Basic Text as their source and they really know it's contents and direct you to each page to prove their position, or at least a frame of reference. Scholars do the same when they discuss philosophy's of certain Philosophers. My experience is if you really understand something you can then communicate it and then give reference. There's few things I come up with myself but I appear to have a knack of making clear what is ambiguous or misunderstood. God is a Title and it appears to be a generic term people use. One's God may be different then an other, my God requires certain things from me which is my belief system. If one's belief system doesn't match one's practices their hypocrites and that's anything but Godly. Another person may have the same belief structure as mine and be an atheist or agnostic. The distinguishing factor is faith, principle and person as God and his commandments and statues or/and Christ and his gospels. Whatever one's religion is it must somehow manifest in their life or it is dead. I have a individual religion and have experienced many things but to try to convince another is entirely wrong. I may steer in a certain direction but its up to my Lord's to manifest in their life and not me. I take no credit, I don't wish to be someone's god, as so many that take an authoritarian religious position. I do what I'm supposed to and have learned that's what I must do regardless of what the world does.
