actually @Compassionate that could be read as (5*4x)11. It may be better to write it as five minus the expression four minus x, subtract eleven.

It is assumed that five is already being multiplied by the expression 4x. You could also write it that way, though the word, "expression," or, "terms," isn't used when writing equations.
