Piano is a better instrument. It will make learning everything else much easier.

Piano! That's what I started with and now I play the guitar as well and it was easy to learn after learning how to play the piano!

It depends on what accessibility factor you are talking about. It would be much easier to start playing the guitar because you can bring it everywhere. On the other hand, the piano would not be portable and accessibility will be limited. It would still be ideal to learn about the octave melodies on the piano though. By looking at the advantages and disadvantages, you can decide on which instrument would best suits you. Sometimes your idol might be using an instrument, however that instrument may or may not suit what you are built to succeed on. That would be the instrument that best suits you, your goals, and your interests.

I learned gutar on my own without learning the piano, It realy shouldn't matter which one you learn first....but I would still say piano, because then you will have to learn how to read music.

I would say it depends on what you want out of music. If you want to really understand the theory part of music in an effort to expand your musical horizon I would say learn piano. Piano holds the basic concepts that can be applied to every instrument. However, if you're just looking for a fun instrument to play for your friends and family I would say go with the guitar because you don't really need to read music to play it. But if it were me, I would just learn both.
