Quick Question: If the opposite sides of a quadrilateral are parallel, does it mean they are the same length also?

    You are right but what if I was able to find out that both pairs of opposite sides were parallen

    Then would the length also have to be the same for the opposite sides ?

    Yes, because you now have a parallelogram, which is a subset of quadrilaterals.
