Sad to hear that, but this would prolly be better on the health section. What happened to you long ago? and since when has this started ?

OMG REALLY ? YOU COUGHED BLOODD ? My answer: Go to the doctor's IMMEDIATELY. You can never be too careful. And if you coughed out blood right after that happened, and since, you've been having bad headaches, this is worrisome. I hope you'll feel better, but please, please see someone about this!

Joanna, I am sorry that you were beaten up and seem to have some medical issues related to that fight. All I can say is that if you need medical treatment, please seek it and if you need social services or appropriate council to deal with some of the social issues that caused this, we suggest you seek them too. In a broader sense: We have had some legal issues in the past with people soliciting medical advice on OpenStudy, and the lawyers made it very clear that we are not able to give medical or mental health advise to our users for legal reasons. The people on OpenStudy are not doctors or medical professionals; in many cases we know only our user's IP address, not their name, background, or in cases when their IP address is from a cafe or library, where they live. If advice should turn out to be wrong or harmful, first of all someone got hurt which we definitely don't want, and secondly it could have incredibly far reaching legal repercussions for this site even staying online. We have had a couple cases involving mental health issues and people who may or may not be suicidal posting it on here. And we had one case involving a small child with a serious skin condition in which a person who was not the child's guardian posted quite graphic and intimate pictures of the child in this public forum in an attempt to get medical advice about it. You can imagine some of the comments these threads got and you will understand why it is our policy not to give health related advise on OpenStudy. Or post these things at all.
