One problem plants had living on land was that they had to find a new way to obtain water and nutrients if there is no rainfall for a while. How did plants adapt to solve this particular problem? A.     Plants develop eggs so they can put them in birdnests or hide them during easter (LOL) Hardy stems are used to survive the winter. Plants develop roots to obtain water and nutrients from the soil. Developing seeds is used for reproduction of plants.
