How might planting a crop of soybeans and turning the plants under at the end of the harvest season help improve the soil in that field?

    it would add organic material and nitrate to the soil. It would help break up the soil and add phosphorus to it. It would increase the amount of ammonia and carbon in the soil. It would make the soil richer in phosphorus and potassium.
