May someone please help me on a HARD geometry question?? anybody that knows geometry well?? thnx :)!!!!!
Pentagon ABCDE is shown on the coordinate plane below. If pentagon ABCDE is rotated 180° around the origin to create pentagon A’B’C’D’E’, what is the ordered pair of point C’? (-5, 2) (5, 2) (2, -5) (-2, 5)
here is the attachment!!
i think it is A???
sry I don't mean to question you but have you already taken geometry?? and thank you for your help :)
one way to do this is put one leg of a compass on the origin and the other leg on point C and draw a circle. 180 degrees will be 1/2 of the circle. |dw:1364930145467:dw|
ooo okay that makes a lot more sense!! thank you sooo much :)
the "new C" will be the same x and y but negated.
yeah!! okay I get it now :) thank you so much for explaining!! I wish everybody could just explain instead give the answer :) have a great rest of your day!!!
