I need help solving this and checking my work: |c + 12| = -12 C = ??? |r - (-3)| = 6 R = ????

    hmmm...well for the second one is it really saying the absolute value of r+3=6 so what number(s) make that true?

    yupp...since it is an absolute value though what is the negative solution? what negative number plus 3 makes -6(since it is an absolute value equation if it is a -6, then it will be a 6)

    @Yolo4mecuite , i would honestly put not possible. absolute value means that no matter whats inside of it it will turn out positive.

    since, |....anything...| can never be negative, there is NO SOLUTION for C.
